The League of Women Voters of Maryland urges voters throughout the state to prepare for the upcoming primary by visiting VOTE411.org to find their polling place, check voting hours, learn about the candidates and ballot measures and read tips about voting in Maryland.
Voters in Maryland need simple, helpful tools to help them navigate the voting process and Election Day and VOTE411.org is the nation's premiere online election resource. The League of Women Voters of Maryland has added our voter's guide to VOTE411.org so that is can serve as a resource for all of voters in every Maryland jurisdiction.
VOTE411 is a resource for all of Maryland's voters in a variety of ways. For example, it includes the League-produced "Take Control" Web video that encourages our newest generation of voters to get registered and vote this year. The video, together with the League's "Electing the President" publication, provide a strong foundation for explaining the voting and democratic process and encouraging all voters to participate.
As of Jan. 24, 600 candidates statewide had been invited via email to participate our online Voters' Guide. The League encourages everyone to prepare for Maryland's April 3 Primary Election, or Early Voting on March 24-29, by visiting VOTE411.org and, of course to get registered to participate in the general election later this year.
