EASTON — The Talbot County Minority Outreach and Technical Assistance Program is hosting its 2013 Health and Wellness Forum, Saturday, Nov. 2, at Brookletts Place, Talbot County Senior Center.

The forum will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with experts speaking on diabetics and high blood pressure at 10 a.m., insurance coverage programs at 11 a.m., and Dr. Mary DeShields will discuss cancer prevention and detection with a focus on weight management and prevention at noon.

Dozens of community organizations will be on hand with information about programs, health messages and events. This activity is free and open to all community members, and presentations will be given in both English and Spanish.
