Eastern Shore Bicycling Group to Hold Off-Road Race

SNOW HILL - On Sunday, Feb.10 the Eastern Shore International Mountain Bicycling Association's will hold its inaugural Tarr Tract Off-Road Bike Race. This bike race is for adults. Spectators of all ages are welcome to cheer on the riders. Refreshments will be provided and cyclists can ride the race course after completion at approximately 3 p.m.

The event will be held at the Blades road entrance to the Pocomoke State Forest. Registration is at noon. Race starts 1 p.m. All level riders are welcome. Fat Tire and cross bikes work best. Categories will be determined by turn out. There will be an expert and a novice Class. There will be a Homemade Trophy for the fastest lap.

Riders will choose from a number of laps on single track dirt trails. These trails have been here for years but now have a single track cleared by ESIMBA. IMBA and ESIMBA members should bring their card or membership number. The cost for nonmembers is $5.
