Dagsboro, DE - The Delaware State Police Sussex County Governor’s Task Force (GTF) has arrested a Dagsboro man in the connection with a several month long investigation into dealing drugs outside his house.
On Monday January 14th at approximately 3:30 p.m., Franklin Blunt, 31 of Dagsboro was observed by members of GTF and the Sussex County Drug Unit walking from his residence in the 30000 block of Coffin Lane to the end of his driveway. Detectives made contact with Blunt who was found to be in possession of 15 bags of suspected heroin totaling approximately .4 grams, 10 Morphine pills, five Oxycodone pills, and three Alprozolam along with other items of drug paraphernalia.
Blunt was taken into custody without incident and transported back to Troop 4 where he was processed for the above charges. He was arraigned at JP2 and committed to SCI on $44,000.00 secured bond.
