Seaford, DE- The Delaware State Police have arrested a couple in connection with numerous burglaries in the Seaford area.
A joint investigation with Seaford Police Department culminated with the arrest of Richard A. Aiken, 48, and Brandy L. Johnson, 31, both of Seaford. Detectives learned that between September 9th and September 16, 2012, the couple conspired to forcibly enter unoccupied houses during the daytime hours and remove jewelry, coins, and electronic devices and then pawn the items at a local pawn shop.
Brandy Johnson was arrested on September 20, 2012 and charged with the above listed crimes. She was arraigned at JP2 and is currently committed to WCI on $5,500.00 secured bail.
Richard Aiken was arrested on October 4, 2012 and charged with the above listed crimes. He was arraigned at JP2 and is currently committed to SCI on $158,500.00 secured bail.
