Irene cleanup effort

STEVENSVILLE Hurricane Irene left a lot of people in the dark on
and around Kent Island and damaged a number of trees, but didn't
produce the widespread flooding that might have been possible in
the area, emergency officials said.
The storm is being blamed for the death of a Queenstown-area
woman who died after a tree knocked a brick chimney into a glass
sunroom where she was sitting.
