Local Government Talbot OKs Allied Health funds

Majority of Mid-Shore counties vote in favor of Chesapeake College project; all must pay their share

EASTON The proposed Center for Allied Health and Athletics at Chesapeake College is no longer just a proposal.

By a 3-2 vote Tuesday afternoon, the Talbot County Council approved funding its share of the $36 million project, a vote that effectively approved the project since a 3-2 majority of Mid-Shore counties is now in place to move it forward.
