ANNAPOLIS - State Sen. Richard Colburn, R-37-Mid-Shore, and Maryland Department of Natural Resources Secretary John R. Griffin got into a shouting match Friday over an ongoing poaching investigation.
Griffin was meeting with the General Assembly delegation from Maryland's Eastern Shore to give an update on his department's activities when questions arose over devices found more than a year ago on some watermen's boats in Dorchester County.

More pandering by Colburn, so he can raise more money to keep him employed. I don't remember hearing anything from him when Bush and Cheney were conducting illegal and unconstitutional domestic surveillance.

The Supreme Court has come down as illegal, the placing of such tracking devices on personal property without a judge's review and approval. Let the DNR verify that they had such an approved warrent in place - why are they dragging their feet (again) on this basic constitutional question? Griffin's time may be up-time for him to leave based on his lack of demonstrated leadership.
