N. Korea threatens to attack S. Korea over drills

PYONGYANG, North Korea (AP) North Korea will launch "merciless" strikes if South Korea goes through with planned live-fire drills Monday in a disputed front-line area near their disputed sea border, a North Korean officer warned in an interview with The Associated Press.

Hundreds die in Honduras prison fire

TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras (AP) - A fire started by an inmate tore through an aging and severely overcrowded Honduran prison, burning and suffocating inmates in their locked cells and killing as many as 356 people in one of the world's deadliest prison fires in a century, authorities said Wednesday.
