Londonderry on the Tred Avon has partnered with South Mountain Creamery to deliver fresh milk to residents and to Londonderry’s kitchen as part of the community’s promotion of wellness and proper nutrition on campus to support healthy aging.

EASTON — The Londonderry on the Tred Avon senior independent living community is partnering with a Maryland creamery to bring fresh milk to residents and the facility’s kitchen.

The Easton community is partnering with the South Mountain Creamery to provide fresh milk for residents and preparation of meals and baked goods. The fresh local milk is part of efforts to promote nutrition and wellness at the community for resident age 62 and older.

“Adding fresh milk to our offerings is a natural extension of our goal of making more fresh and seasonal ingredients available on campus,” said Chelsea Coombs, Londonderry’s director of dining. “We enjoy great partnerships with local farmers to supply our produce and protein and have loved working with South Mountain Creamery. I know our residents have already been able to taste the difference.”

The 29-acre independent living development is located on the Tred Avon River waterfront in Easton.
