CHESTERTOWN — Main Street Chestertown will host small business development center senior consultant Garrett Glover for the Peer-to-Peer Dialog “Clichés for the Holidays: Small Business Truths.”

The seminar will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, at the Chestertown town hall, second floor meeting room, at 118 N. Cross St.

Clichés hang around because there’s truth in them, especially for businesses competing for holiday dollars. This free Peer-to-Peer Dialogue offers an amusing but “do or die” look at clichés as “best practices” that businesses must tend to in order to make the most of the 2019 holiday season, a news release states.

Beverages and snacks will be supplied. The attendee who comes up with the best “original cliché” will take home a business book.

Reserve a spot by Monday, Aug. 12, to kay.chestertown@gmail.com or 410-778-2991.
