WASHINGTON — Twitter has permanently banned My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell over his support for former President Donald Trump’s contentions that voter fraud swayed the 2020 election to President Joe Biden.

Some retailers have also dropped My Pillow products over his politics and social media posts, according to Lindell.

Lindell is a strong Trump supporter and frequent advertiser on Fox News. He has kept up his claims that illegal mail-in ballots and other irregularities led to Biden’s win.

The ban comes after Twitter and Facebook banned former President Donald Trump after the Jan. 6 Capitol riot that locked down Congress.

Social media giants have also been restricting or banning other accounts from Trump backers and others from the political right.

Lindell said the ban aims to censor dissenting voices.
