EASTON — Lane Engineering LLC recently announced the appointment of environmental planner Dani Racine to the State of Maryland’s Marine Contractors Licensing Board.
Governor Wes Moore made the appointment, and a statement from Lane said Racine was chosen for her knowledge and efforts in marine permitting.
“I am proud of the professional relationships I’ve developed in the industry leading to this nomination, and I’m excited for the opportunity to have a voice in the regulatory world. The Maryland Marine Contractor License requirement is unique, and I am honored to be part of a process that raises the professional bar and ensures that contractors are working with environmental integrity,” said Racine.
Racine has worked for Lane Engineering for almost 10 years. She manages the marine permit division where she works closely with contractors to design and permit a variety of tidal wetland projects for property owners across the Eastern Shore.
According the statement from Lane, Racine strives to be a tireless advocate for her clients while maintaining professional working relationships with the state, federal and local regulators.
Lane Engineering is a multi-disciplined firm on Maryland’s Eastern Shore with offices in Easton, Centreville and Cambridge. The company offers civil engineering, land planning, land surveying, environmental, marine and construction management services to clients across the Eastern Shore and Delaware.
