The last event of the year by the Federalsburg Historical Society is fast approaching.  They will be hosting their annual Christmas Open House on Monday night, December 9 from 6:00 until 9:00 PM during the Federalsburg Christmas parade.

Stop by for a cup of hot cider and homemade gingersnaps and enjoy the museum as it glows with Yuletide displays.  For a Christmas gift wrapped in memories, shop at the Historically Yours Boutique for pewter ornaments depicting local landmarks, books written by local authors, and Jack Sealman cards and prints. This year’s annual Christmas ornament is “Sally Ann Bakery” which was owned and operated by the Zaffere family from 1926 – 1988.  The winning ticket for a beautifully restored Antique Trunk will be drawn at the end of the evening.  Tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00.

The Federalsburg Heritage Museum is located at 100 Covey Williams Alley (behind Town Hall) and is handicap accessible. Come and bring your family to this free event.  For more information go to or call 443-434-3114.
