CAMBRIDGE — Cambridge Police Department is investigating a Thursday night shooting.

A 19-year-old male was shot in the upper torso, according to Capt. Justin Todd, public information officer for Cambridge Police. He said the teen appeared to be in stable condition.

The shooting occurred in the 600 block of Moore’s Avenue, Todd said.

The victim told police he heard two gunshots, then realized he was actually shot, Todd said.

According to police, family members drove the victim to the hospital about 7:30 p.m. Nov. 5. He was treated at the hospital and later released.

Police are looking for the shooter, who is unknown. The victim said he has no idea who shot him, Todd said.

Officers found shell casings lying in the 600 block of Moore’s Avenue, police said. The investigation is continuing.
