Confirmed COVID-19 cases in Maryland by 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 19, are 41,546, a one-day increase of 1,784 cases (with 2,063 on the Eastern Shore and 73 confirmed deaths). Since March 3, the number of negative test results is 167,112, confirmed deaths 1,963, probable deaths 118, currently hospitalized 1,421 and released from isolation 2,862. By Tuesday afternoon, May 19, Delaware reported 8,037 confirmed cases, with 304 deaths. The number of negative test results is 36,095, currently hospitalized 236 and recovered 3,760.
