Confirmed COVID-19 cases in Maryland by 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 20, are 42,323, a one-day increase of 777 cases (with 2,090 on the Eastern Shore and 77 confirmed deaths). Since March 3, the number of negative test results is 173,007, confirmed deaths 2004, probable deaths 119, currently hospitalized 1,410 and released from isolation 2,993. By Wednesday afternoon, May 20, Delaware reported 8,194 confirmed cases, with 310 deaths. The number of negative test results is 37,218, currently hospitalized 220 and recovered 3,965.
