CBMM to host four summer movie nights

The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum will welcome guests to its campus this summer for a series of four movies nights.

ST. MICHAELS — On four Fridays this summer, the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum is offering guests and their families the chance to watch classic movies on its waterfront campus.

Movies will be projected on a large screen on Navy Point in front of the Miles River.

The series consists of “Night at the Museum” on July 12, “The Sandlot” on July 19, “The Princess Bride” on July 26 and “Big” on Aug. 2.

All showings will start at 8:30 p.m. and have a rain date of the following evening.

Guests should bring their own blankets, chairs and picnic baskets. Ice cream will be available for purchase each night. Seating is first-come, first served. Dogs are not permitted on the museum’s campus during special events and festivals, with the exception of certified service dogs.

CBMM’s summer movie nights are free for CBMM members and children 18 and under, or $3 for nonmember adults. To learn more, visit cbmm.org.
