The Dirty Grass Players

The Dirty Grass Players will play two shows Friday, Jan. 17, in the Stoltz Listening Room.

EASTON — The Dirty Grass Players are set to play two shows — at 5 and 8 p.m. — Friday, Jan. 17, in the Avalon Theatre’s Stoltz Listening Room.

This four-piece band — Mikey Sallemi on bass, Alex Berman on banjo, Ben Kolakowski on guitar and Ryan Rogers on mandolin — transitions from down-home bluegrass to improvisation, making each performance unique.

After touring the mid-Atlantic and making festival appearances, 2019 saw the group expanding along the East Coast.

From Baltimore, the Dirty Grass Players won the 2017 Charm City Bluegrass & Folk Festival Band Competition.

Tickets for the Stoltz shows are $25, and available online at or by calling the Avalon box office at 410-822-7299.
