Songs from the Road Band

The Songs from the Road Band will perform Thursday, Sept. 19, in the Stoltz Listening Room.

EASTON — The Songs from the Road Band, delivering a high-energy show full of original material from their four studio albums, will perform at 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, in the Avalon Theatre’s Stoltz Listening Room.

Currently touring in support of its fourth album, “Road to Nowhere,” this North Carolina-based quartet features IBMA/Grammy-winner Charles Humphrey, progressive/jamgrass notable Mark Schimick, award-winning bluegrass guitarist Sam Wharton and two-time National Fiddle Champion James Schlender.

In addition to the top accolades they have received in the bluegrass, Americana and jazz genres, band members have performed with Chick Corea, Larry Keel, Bobby McFerrin, Vassar Clements, Tony Rice and George Benson.
