EASTON — Turkey Day’s done, the big game’s over, and you’ve shopped until you dropped. Now what is there to do?
The Jamie McLean Band, known for its musical gumbo of New Orleans soul, Delta blues, middle-America roots and New York City swagger, will perform at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, at the Avalon Theatre.
As a guitarist for New Orleans royalty Aaron Neville and Dirty Dozen Brass Band, McLean has toured the globe playing guitar everywhere from Madison Square Garden to Japan’s Fuji Rock.
Appearing at Bonnaroo, Mountain Jam and other prestigious festivals, McLean and his band also have shared the stage with the likes of Gregg Allman, Aaron Neville, Dr. John, Taj Mahal and Tedeschi Trucks Bands.
At 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, the XPD’s will perform their crowd-pleasing repertoire of Motown, jazz-R&B, country and rock at a dance party in the Avalon.
