EASTON — The second Summer Sing Choir Festival, hosted by Allegro Academy, will take place at 7 p.m. Friday, July 26.

An intergenerational community choir will perform Franz Schubert’s Mass No. 2 and “Magnificat,” and will be joined by featured soloists and orchestra.

The free performance will be held at Trinity Cathedral, 315 Goldsborough St., Easton.

The 2018 Summer Sing featured Antonio Vivaldi’s “Gloria” and attracted a standing-room-only audience of more than 200 of all ages and backgrounds for the 50-member volunteer chorus.

The Summer Sing Choir Festival is conducted by Allegro Academy Artistic Director Amy Morgan. An accomplished musician, she earned a bachelor’s degree in piano performance from Salisbury University and master’s in choral conducting from Messiah College.

Morgan founded the Allegro Academy in 2017 and has served as the music director at Trinity Cathedral since 2014.
