Sean Wells

EASTON — Sean Wells has been chosen to design and paint a canvas for the 30th annual Festival of Trees, with the theme: “It’s A Wonderful Life.”

“We are so excited to be working with Sean and cannot wait to see the artwork he designs for this year’s event,” said Chairman Jackie Wilson.

Wells was born and raised in Chester County, Pa. He currently is employed by the James A. Michener Art Museum and lives in Bucks County, Pa. He spends his weekends in Oxford, where he has a studio. He prefers to paint around Oxford and the Eastern Shore; the subject matter he likes most is that of rustic, forgotten objects, off the beaten path and not in the general, daily view of the public, usually created with oil paint on panel.

Wells’ original paintings and glicee prints are available for sale at, The Treasure Chest in Oxford, Vintage Books and Fine Arts in Easton and the Local Port of Art in St. Michaels.

This year’s Festival of Tree will be held Nov. 28 to Dec. 1. For more information about the Festival of Trees, how to sponsor a decorated tree or to volunteer, visit www.festival- or call 410-819-FEST.
