Critchlow Adkins sponsors 2nd Cornhole Tourney June 8

EASTON — Critchlow Adkins Children’s Centers second annual Cornhole Tournament will take place Saturday, June 8, at the Elks Lodge 1622, 502 Dutchmans Lane, Easton.

The tournament benefits Critchlow Adkins Children’s Centers families and children.

The double elimination tournament, hosted by Dale Moran of Maryland Cornhole, will feature both competitive and social divisions.

Cash prizes in the competitive division will be awarded for first, second, and third place winners and prizes such as restaurant gift certificates will be awarded for the social division. The most creative team name will also win a prize.

Check-in begins at noon, and bags fly at 12:30 p.m., rain or shine.

The entry fee is $50 per 2-person team. Sponsorship opportunities are available.

In addition to a lively afternoon of cornhole, food and drinks will be available for purchase.

Critchlow Adkins Children’s Centers is a local, non-profit organization that provides quality, educational childcare in a nurturing, safe, and enriching environment which offers year-round preschool, pre K to 5th grade before- and after-school care, and summer camp programs.

CACC is able to offer tuition assistance to qualifying families through the generosity and financial support of individuals, businesses and foundations in Talbot County.
