FACES offers chenille pillow class

Class offered on how to make a decorator pillow.

DENTON — Making your own decorator pillows has never been so easy. Join the class at the Fiber Arts Center of the Eastern Shore, where Alice Engle will demonstrate how to make a beautiful chenille pillow.

The class will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13. The cost is $25 for members and $30 for non-members. Class size is limited to 10.

Students will need four heart panels, a sharp pair of scissors (or chenille cutter), a working sewing machine, pillow form (12 ½ inch), half a yard of backing fabric, Omnigrid ruler (6 ½ inches by 24 inches that shows a 45 degree angle marking), and pins.

FACES is located at 7 N. 4th St. in Denton.
