Library hosts three One Maryland One Book discussions

DR. MONA

HANNA-ATTISHA

EASTON — Talbot County readers can choose from three dates to discuss the 2019 One Maryland One Book, “What the Eyes Don’t See: A Story of Crisis, Resistance, and Hope in an American City” by Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha.

“’What the Eyes Don’t See’ is a gripping, inspirational true story that reads as a scientific thriller, as Dr. Mona fights to prove how Flint’s children were exposed to lead,” according to mdhumanities.org.

At 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16, the Easton Book Group will host a discussion, which is open to all at the Easton branch of Talbot County Free Library. At 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept.17, “Library guy” Bill Peak will host a discussion at the St. Michaels branch, and at 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, Peak leads the discussion at the Easton branch.
