CAMBRIDGE — Cambridge police on Tuesday, Sept. 24, arrested a Bel Air man accused of breaking into multiple vehicles.

According to a news release, Cambridge police officers responded to the 2800 block of Persimmon Place at 5:10 a.m. Police said a vehicle there had been ransacked, and cash and credit cards were missing from a wallet that had been inside the vehicle. Three other vehicles in the neighborhood also had been ransacked, police said.

Police said an officer recalled seeing a suspicious man buying items with a credit card at a nearby store earlier in the morning. Through further investigation, officers determined he was the same man who had entered the vehicles at Persimmon Place, police said.

Police arrested Daniel I. Rhock-White, 27, of Bel Air on nine charges, including theft and rogue and vagabond.

Rhock-White was held without bond at the Dorchester County Detention Center.
