CAMBRIDGE — A Cambridge woman has been charged as a drug dealer after the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office searched her residence Nov. 5 and reported finding controlled dangerous substances.

Deputies executed the search warrant Nov. 5 at 409 Leonards Lane, the residence of Vanessa Ann George, 42, who was the target of their investigation, the sheriff’s office said. George was in the residence at the time.

During the search, deputies found seven Xanax pills, a bag of syringes, a glass smoking device, four cell phones, $213 in U.S. currency, 2.3 grams of a cocaine/fentanyl mix, an electronic scale, packaging material and numerous syringes both used and new.

George was charged with three counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance-not marijuana, three counts of possession with intent to distribute controlled dangerous substances, three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of administration equipment with intent to distribute.

George is being held without bond at the Dorchester County Detention Center. A preliminary hearing in the case is set for Dec. 2 in district court.
