CAMBRIDGE — A car was crashed into a house in Cambridge on Sunday morning, July 5, after being stolen from Federalsburg.

Police and emergency medical personnel responded to a car that crashed into a private residence on the 800 block of Bayly Road in Cambridge at 10:54 a.m. July 5, according to Cambridge Police Department Public Information Officer Capt. Justin Todd.

Todd said, when officers arrived, the driver of the vehicle had left the scene. Further investigation revealed that the vehicle was stolen from the Federalsburg area in Caroline County.

The brick front steps of the house were destroyed in the crash, and the house sustained other damage.

Police are still looking for a suspect in the case.
