EASTON — Easton police on Saturday, Aug. 31, arrested an Easton man during a traffic stop.
According to police, they stopped a Chevrolet truck after it crossed the center line of the road.
Speaking with the driver, identified as 46-year-old Terrance Laws of Easton, the officer noticed a strong odor of alcohol, police said.
Laws was unable to complete field sobriety tests successfully and later agreed to take an intoximeter test, police said. The results were in excess of the legal limit, according to police.
Laws was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. He later was released to a sober driver.
