EASTON — Easton police on Wednesday, July 10, served an Easton man with a criminal summons in connection with an alleged incident at Royal Farms.

According to police, on June 26 employees at the store accused Nicholas Goldstein, 23, of trying to steal something. Police said Goldstein then caused a disturbance and threw a sandwich, causing it to be unsellable. He left the store when police were called, police said.

Goldstein was charged with malicious destruction of property and theft under $100.
