EASTON — A local man faces theft charges for allegedly stealing a Citizen watch from a car in January.

Lamar Cooper, of Easton, is charged with one count of misdemeanor theft for allegedly stealing a Citizen watch belonging to Nakirha Bordley.

Easton Police say Cooper allegedly stole the watch from the center console of Bordley’s vehicle. The watch is worth $556, according to police.

Cooper was issued a criminal summons on Feb. 5. A preliminary hearing is scheduled on the case in Talbot County District Court on March 5.
