EASTON — Easton police on Friday, Nov. 8, arrested an Easton man accused of trying to rob a restaurant a day earlier.
According to a new release, police officers responded about 2:54 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, to Hong Kong Kitchens at 210 Marlboro Ave.
Police said employees told them a white male, wearing a dark-colored hooded jacket/sweatshirt, blue jeans and a ski mask, displayed a pocket knife and demanded money.
The employees refused to give him money, and he fled the store, police said. He was seen running toward the area of Peebles, police said.
No money was taken, and no one was injured, according to police.
Police said they connected Robert David Loder, 23, of Easton to the incident and arrested him Friday on charges of armed robbery, robbery, first- and second-degree assault, and attempted theft under $100.
He was held without bond at the Talbot County Detention Center.
