FEDERALSBURG — A woman is being held without bond following an incident Friday, March 12. Police said Yolanda Ross has been charged with stabbing her fiance Alfred Harmon.

According to the Caroline County Sheriff’s Office, the 51-year-old Ross told police she stabbed the victim following an argument in their home on Houston Branch Road. Deputies located the suspected knife used in the stabbing in the kitchen sink of the residence.

The victim was treated at the scene by EMS and transported to Peninsula Regional Medical Center for a single stab wound to the shoulder. Ross was charged with first and second degree assault and is held without bond pending a March 15 hearing.
