SALISBURY — A Cambridge man has been arrested on murder, gun and assault charges for allegedly killing a 42-year-old man and injuring a 50-year-old woman in Salisbury earlier this month.

Maryland State Police announced Monday the arrest Damon Kirkland Hall, 25, of Cambridge, on first- and second-degree murder, attempted murder, first and second-degree assault and multiple firearm related charges.

Hall was arrested Friday, Oct. 15.

He is charged with fatally shooting Emmanual Jones, 42, and injuring Patrice Trader, 50, — both of Salisbury — after police discovered them suffering from gunshot wounds on Oct. 12.

Jones was pronounced dead TidalHealth Peninsula General Hospital. An autopsy by the Office of the State Medical Examiner ruled Jones’ death as homicide by multiple gunshot wounds.

Trader was also transported to Peninsula General and then University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center where she continues to receive treatment.

The Maryland State Police’s Homicide Unit along with the Salisbury Police responded to the crime scene. Police believe the shootings were “not a random attack and the victims were targeted” and investigation is ongoing.
