Motorcycle catches fire in Denton

A burnt motorcycle reported stolen was found in the area of Salisbury Creek Road and Hobbs Road in Denton.

DENTON — The owner of a 2019 Harley Davidson Tri Glide motorcycle reported his bike stolen Saturday, May 2. The bike later was discovered in the area of Salisbury Creek Road and Hobbs Road in Denton.

When police discovered the bike on the side of the road, the fire already had self-extinguished.

There was an estimated $40,000 in damages, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
