EASTON — Easton police on Tuesday, Sept. 3, arrested an Odenton woman on drunk driving charges.
Police said officers were called to Wawa to investigate a report of a woman drinking beer while driving a vehicle. Police said they saw the vehicle leaving Wawa and made a traffic stop.
Officers smelled alcohol while speaking to the driver, Sheryl Medvedeff, 50, of Odenton, police said. Officers arrested her after administering field sobriety tests, police said.
Medvedeff submitted to a breath test with a result of 0.16, twice the legal limit, police said.
She was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and later released to a sober driver.
