EASTON — Easton police on June 1 referred a teenager to the Department of Juvenile Services.

Police said they were contacted by a woman who told them her 13-year-old daughter had jumped out of her vehicle several times and was out of control because she would not take her to Salisbury.

Police said officers found the girl in the area of Dover and West streets, where she was in the middle of the street screaming. The officers tried to quiet her and several people in the area came out to see what the commotion was about.

After gaining control of the girl, police referred her to juvenile authorities on a disorderly conduct charge.
