Dorchester Police responded to a shooting June 16 that involving two teens. One was flown to the University of Maryland Stock Trauma Center in Baltimore.

CAMBRIDGE — A 17-year-old is recovering after being shot on Sunday night, May 2, in Cambridge.

Cambridge Police Department spokesman Capt. Justin Todd said the teen was shot in the area of his hip and leg area.

The victim was taken to Tidal Health in Salisbury, where he is in stable condition after a bullet was removed, according to Todd.

Several shots were heard in the vicinity of Leonards Lane around 9:37 p.m., and police and emergency responders responded to the victim’s location on the 500 block of Leonards Lane.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
