EASTON — Easton police on May 23 arrested a Caroline County man and a Harford County man during a traffic stop.

According to a news release, officers stopped a vehicle for speeding on Dover Road near Elliott Road.

Police said a K-9 was called to scan the vehicle and gave a positive alert. Officers searched the vehicle and found five paper wax folds containing suspected heroin in the wallet of a passenger, identified as Danny Walter Mussman, 34, of Forrest Hills, police said.

Another passenger, Edward James Tyler, 57, of Preston, was in possession of Percocet without a prescription, according to police.

Mussman was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (not marijuana), while Tyler was charged with CDS possession without a prescription. They each were released on personal recognizance, according to online court records.

Police said the driver of the vehicle was cited for speeding and released at the scene.
