EASTON — Two Easton residents are facing drug charges following a Talbot County Drug Task Force search of their home.

According to a news release, at about 12:36 p.m. May 1, members of the Talbot County Drug Task Force — assisted by the Easton Police Department SWAT, Talbot County Sheriff’s Office Patrol/K9 and Talbot County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division — executed a search and seizure warrant at 410 S. Harrison St. in Easton.

Police said EPD SWAT entered through a rear door, and several people were inside, including Trisha Wright, 39, and Daniel Leo Reyes III, 41, both of that address.

Police said they searched the residence thoroughly, and found suspected powdered cocaine, marijuana, a large amount of U.S. currency, a handgun, a digital scale, packaging material and evidence of distribution.

Wright, who police said has a criminal history of drug-related charges and assault, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, CDS possession (not marijuana), maintaining a common nuisance, firearm possession with felony conviction, illegal possession of a regulated firearm, possession of a firearm during a drug trafficking crime and illegal possession of ammunition.

She was held without bail in the Talbot County Detention Center.

Reyes, who police said has a criminal history of drug-related charges, armed robbery, burglary and arson, was arrested and charged with CDS possession with intent to distribute, CDS possession (not marijuana), maintaining a common nuisance, firearm possession with felony conviction, illegal possession of a regulated firearm, Possession of a firearm during a drug trafficking crime and illegal possession of ammunition.

He, too, was held without bail in the Talbot County Detention Center.
