EASTON — An Easton woman and her son each have been charged with second-degree assault in connection with an alleged incident on Aug. 15.

Easton police on Wednesday, Aug. 21, served Tina Louise Carney, 52, and her son, Daniel Stafford, 38, also Easton, each with a criminal summons charging them with second-degree assault.

According to charging documents, Carney and Stafford assaulted Olivia Paide Hodgman, 31, of Easton when an argument about infidelity turned physical, police said.

Carney and Stafford were released on their signatures.
