CENTREVILLE — The Queen Anne’s County commissioners on Tuesday, July 9, approved a request to provide $2,460 toward the construction of a Korean War Veterans Wall of Remembrance on the Mall in Washington, D.C.

The names of six veterans from the county have been identified: James R. Lister, Earl Nazelrod, William A. White, George V Wilson, Edward A. Lund and John F. Murry.

The request was made to all Maryland counties proportionately based on the number of veterans who served in each county.
