EASTON — A man was killed in a car accident on Friday, April 2, in Easton.
The fatal accident occurred at approximately 6:07 a.m. near U.S. Route 50 and Easton Parkway, according to Easton Police.
Angelo Butler, 67 of Cambridge, was transported to University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton after the accident where he was pronounced dead, according to police.
According to police, Teosha Henry, 20 of Cambridge, was driving a 2014 Ford Focus. Henry was stopped for the blinking red signal on westbound Ocean Gateway (Route 50) at Easton Parkway.
The Focus entered the intersection and was struck by a 2020 Chevrolet Spark driven by Teresa Sanders, 56 of Cambridge, according to police. That car was traveling east on Easton Parkway.
Butler was a passenger in the Chevy Spark.
Sanders was transported via helicopter to University of Maryland Shock Trauma in Baltimore with serious injuries. Henry was treated by medical personnel at the scene.
The cause of the accident is being investigated by the Maryland State Police.
No charges have been filed against either driver.
