ROCK HALL — Burgess Tucker has done so many things for his hometown that it’s probably impossible to list them all, from being a business owner, to dedicated congregant at Wesley Chapel Church to a lifetime member of the fire company where he served as chief for 13 consecutive years.

The Town of Rock Hall recently embraced Tucker by honoring him as grand marshal of the Fourth of July parade. He was cheered all along the parade route.

Judges were seated on a flatbed in the center of town, which made it easy to eyeball every parade entry. The prize-winners are listed here.
