EASTON — James Austin Davis passed away on Jan. 2, 2017. He was 59.
Jim was born in Washington, D.C., to Herbert Alan Davis and Ann Leah Davis, and was raised in Kensington, Md. He graduated from Walter Johnson High School, Montgomery College and became a real estate appraiser (Davis Appraisal Group) based in the Myersville, Md., area. He relocated to Easton in 2016.
Anyone that knew Jim knew of his big heart. He loved his family, friends, his dogs, music, fishing and his Redskins.
Jim is preceded in death by his father and his stepson, Shaun Moss. He leaves behind his daughter, Kelly; his grandson, Mikey, who filled his heart. Jim also leaves behind his mother, Ann Davis; his sister, Amy Davis-Elliott (Sandy); his brother, Bob Davis (Susan); longtime friend, Sandy Moss, her son Jason and family; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as his many friends.
A memorial service will be held at St. Pauls Lutheran Church, 400 Main St., Myersville, MD 21773 at 11 a.m. on Saturday the 14th of January.
