SAN DIEGO, CA — Joshua E. Wright, formerly of Preston, Maryland, passed away on July 28, 2020. He was 41 years old.

Born in Easton on August 12, 1978, he was the son of Janine Mastronardi and the late Benjamin Wright.

Josh was well known for his love of the outdoors and dogs. You could always find him either running his rabbit dogs or trying to find the perfect fishing spot.

Josh is survived by his son, Gunner Wright of Augusta, West Virginia; and his two daughters, Makenzie Wright of Augusta, West Virginia, and Katelyn Wright of Preston; former wife Sandy Jarrell; grandson, Clay Hurst of Preston; sister, Beth Ball of Preston; brothers, Daniel Mastronardi of Preston, Hunter Mastronardi of Preston; uncles, Michael Wright (Amy) of Federalsburg, Jeffery Wright (Cindy) of Easton, Robert Wright (Vicky) of Federalsburg, Timothy Wright (Sharon) of Houston, Texas; and aunt, Sharon Maher (Mike) of Glen Cove, New York.

In addition to his father, Josh was preceded in death by his brother, Benjamin T. Wright Jr.; grandmothers Catherine H. Wright and Betty J. Hinnershitz; and grandfather, Robert E. Wright.
