Some of us “older folks” still remember “Cheers,” the funny TV show about a friendly bar where “everybody knows your name.”

Easton Hardware is a place just like that. I love to go there!

First of all, they greet you by name. Secondly, the sign inside the store says it all, “If we don’t have it, you don’t need it.” What a true statement that is!

John Crovo should be applauded for his letter to the Star Democrat. I am sure many of us locals feel the same way. We don’t need a Home Depot, we already have Easton Hardware.

Thanks for the opportunity to add my voice to the many who feel the same way.
