The Editorial Viewpoint in Thursday, August 27 had several egregious mistakes. Did anyone fact check the reprint from Wayne Allyn Root (distributed by Creators.com)? For example, I picked up a quote from Biden concerning his view of defunding the police as reported by the Washington Post on August 27, “No, I don’t support defunding the police,” Biden told CBS. “I support conditioning federal aid to police based on whether they meet certain basic standards of decency and honorableness. And, in fact, are able to demonstrate they can protect the community and everybody in the community.” Indeed, Biden has come under fire from the left for his position and for proposing to spend an additional $300 million a year on the community policing program started in the Clinton administration." It seems Mr. Root wants to falsely spread information to influence the upcoming election. Obviously, there are other examples.
