On Feb. 12, The Star Democrat published photos of Gov.r Hogan posing with African-American legislators and descendants of Frederick Douglass and Harriet Tubman at the Maryland State House's new bronze statues of those two great Americans.

Maybe Gov. Hogan will come to Easton and pose for photos with those Douglass and Tubman descendants and other African Americans in front of the bronze Talbot Boys statue featuring the Confederate flag.

Or maybe the governor will act publicly to remove and/or advocate for the removal of the bronze Confederate flag and flag-bearer from the memorial to the 85 confederate soldiers. That would be more than just another superficial photo op
